As an acupuncturist, I am classified as a primary care practitioner in California. I have extensive training in Bloodwork Analysis and other diagnostic tools using Functional Medicine guidelines. 

 

Functional Medicine uses narrower ranges than conventional diagnostic analysis so I am able to identify issues that can otherwise go undiagnosed.  This explains why many people whose bloodwork presents as “normal” can still feel unwell and continue demonstrating many symptoms that have no seemingly explicable cause. 

 

Functional medicine is used to pinpoint nutritional deficiencies, show stages of acute, viral, bacterial, and parasitic infections, detect the presence of autoimmunity, and provide more detailed information on organ and gland function. 

 

This bloodwork analysis enables me to devise a treatment plan that helps resolve persistent and debilitating health and symptoms.
